This personal licence training course is recognised by all licensing authorities throughout England and Wales. The Highfield Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (RQF) is qualification number: 603/2597/5. The qualification approval/designation number is C00/1221/1.

I will guide you through the complete syllabus and ensure you have the confidence to sit the end of course multi-choice answer exam paper.

Also, during the training day, we will complete the application forms in readiness for your formal application to be granted a personal licence. Applicant make the application to the local authority where they reside, this may not be the same authority as the location of the licensed premises.

On receipt of your personal licence, you will be able to become the Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) at your licensed premises. Each licensed premises has only one DPS. This individual is the person who is in day-to-day control of the premises and is the contact point for any of the responsible authorities.

There is no requirement for a premises licence holder to be a personal licence holder. For example, a limited company can be a premises licence holder but not a personal licence holder.
