PERSONAL LICENCE COURSE ABERDARE MOUNTAIN ASH PENRHIWCEIBER HIRWAUN
If you are looking for a personal licence in Aberdare, Mountain Ash, Hirwaun or Penrhiwceiber, call Johnny Walker on 07970 134 730. I can come to your premises and deliver the Highfield Level II one-day personal licence course.
A personal licence is designed to make sure anyone running or managing a business that sells or supplies alcohol will do so in a professional manner. Once you receive your personal licence, you can act as the Designated Premises Supervisor for any business that sells or supplies alcohol.
You or a member of your staff must hold a personal licence if you sell alcohol from licensed premises, so that every sale or supply of alcohol is authorised by a personal licence holder.
A personal licence can be used throughout England and Wales. You must be 18 years or older and hold an accredited licensing qualification. You are also required to provide a criminal conviction disclosure form. On the training day, we will complete the application forms for grant of a personal licence.
If you have any unspent convictions for a relevant or foreign offence the Licensing Authority must inform Police who will decide if they want to object to the application. If they do, a hearing will take place before the Licensing Committee, to decide whether the licence will be granted.
A personal licence may not be issued to an individual or an individual in a partnership which is not a limited liability partnership who is resident in the UK who:
- does not have the right to live and work in the UK; or
- is subject to a condition preventing him or her from doing work relating to the carrying on of a licensable activity.
Any personal licence issued in respect of an application made on or after 6 April 2017 will become invalid if the holder ceases to be entitled to work in the UK.
Applicants must demonstrate that they have the right to work in the UK and are not subject to a condition preventing them from doing work relating to the carrying on of a licensing activity.
