A Personal Licence permits an individual to sell or supply alcohol at premises for which a premises licence is in place. If you are going to operate a pub, hotel, restaurant, off-licence, convenience store, supermarket etc, in Lydney, then you will need a Personal Licence.
Personal Licences are issued by the local authority in which the applicant lives, regardless of where they intend to work. They do not expire and are portable, allowing the Personal Licence holder to supply alcohol or authorise the supply of alcohol at any licensed premises in England and Wales.
Not every person who works at licensed premises needs to be a Personal Licence holder, but the Designated Premises Supervisor must hold a Personal Licence and all sales of alcohol must be authorised by a Personal Licence holder.
Personal Licences are issued to individuals to enable them to sell or supply alcohol from sites with a premises licence.
Personal licences are valid at any licensed premises in England and Wales and lasts for an indefinite period, unless suspended, revoked or surrendered. A Personal Licence is not necessary for premises with a club registration certificate, or where a temporary event notice is applied for.
Just call Johnny Walker on 07970 134 730 and I’ll talk you through the process of becoming a Personal Licence holder. Get licensed to spill with me. Cheers.
