REDDITCH DESIGNATED PREMISES SUPERVISOR DPS HELPFUL ADVICE

DESIGNATED PREMISES SUPERVISOR DPS REDDITCH, BROMSGROVE, STRATFORD, EVESHAM, PERSHORE. PERSONAL LICENCE COURSE. JOHNNY WALKER 07970 134 730. FREE ADVICE, JUST CALL.

You need a Personal Licence to become the Designated Premises Supervisor at premises licensed for the sale of alcohol. I can help you, call Johnny Walker on 07970 134 730.

The sale or supply of alcohol, because of its impact on the wider community and on crime and anti-social behaviour, carries a great responsibility. Any person who is selling or authorising the sale of alcohol, must hold a Personal Licence issued under the Act. You are only permitted to hold one Personal Licence at any one time.

Premises Licences which authorise the sale of alcohol require a Personal Licence Holder to be named on the Licence as the Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS). This individual’s name is printed onto the Summary Licence and their name and address is printed on the Part A Licence.

Some premises by their nature may require a number of additional people working there, or those holding positions of authority, to hold a Personal Licence.

Click here for guidance about  Alcohol licensing at the gov.uk website.

Applicants for a Personal Licence must apply to the Licensing Authority where they live, rather than where they work or intend to work. If during the course of the Licence, the holder moves to another area (or change their name), a replacement Licence must be dealt with by the original Licensing Authority. This new Licence will show the new address and or the new name. This is a legal requirement.

All Personal Licence Holders:

  • Must be over 18
  • Must provide proof of their right to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Must hold a recognised licensing qualification. I deliver the Highfield Level 2 one-day course.
  • Must not have been convicted of a “relevant” or “foreign” offence . These convictions are listed in the Schedule of Relevant Offences
  • Must not have had a Personal Licence forfeited in the previous five years

During my training day, we will complete all the forms needed to be granted a Personal Licence. There is no requirement to bring passport photographs with you on the training day, but you will need to obtain these as part of the application process.

All candidates will need to produce photographic ID, such as a passport or driving licence, to sit the end of course exam.

Call Johnny Walker on 07970 134 730 and I’ll advise you on how to gain a Personal Licence without the tears. Just call, it’s not a problem. Cheers.
